We will be taking delivery of several new vessels over the next few months and will be recruiting suitably qualified masters/skippers. Minimum certification requirements are:
STCW Master <200gt (code vessel) or Yachtmaster Ocean/Offshore commercially endorsed
ENG 1 medical
STCW95 Basic training (PST, FiFi, First Aid & PSSR)
GOC or LRC
Stability course
MCA AEC or MEOL
Preference given to applicants who have previous experience with jets and who also have:
Radar course
Crew / Engineers will also be required. Minimum certification requirements are:
ENG 1 medical
STCW95 Basic training (PST, FiFi, First Aid & PSSR)
Preference given to applicants who have previous wind farm experience and who also have:
MCA AEC or MEOL

Technical & Planned Maintenance Coordinator
Due to continued fleet expansion, Holyhead Towing Ltd. and its renewable energy support division, Turbine Transfers Ltd., are again recruiting. The company is well established and has an excellent reputation in the supply of support vessels to marine projects throughout Europe, the Middle East, Caspian Sea, West Africa and beyond.
Working in the technical department and mainly based at the office in Holyhead, duties of the successful candidates will include;
- Dealing with day to day technical enquiries from vessels
- Administrative support to the superintendents
- Managing a planned maintenance database
- Coordinating vessel requests for maintenance, support & stores
The ideal candidate will be qualified with an engineering background and have recent marine engineering experience. Exceptional candidates from other engineering backgrounds will be considered.
As the office is based in Holyhead, the successful candidate should ideally live on or near the Isle of Anglesey. The company has a good track record of personnel training and development and the position is long term, subject to a satisfactory trial period. Salary is negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications.
